Superb Photo,Linda.I love the way you have captured the reflections of sunlight on the water and the Heron is wonderful :o)He almost looks to take on a Blue tinge.It would make a beautiful framed picture,or one to paint ? just lovely.:o)

You are lucky to see so much wildlife,so close to home .We are near a river too,which has a local Heron, but it's not a very pleasant riverside to walk along..Now,if we walk in the opposite direction ,ii's lovely ,but I have never seen a Heron there.

Have to agree, you do see some lovely sights on your walks. So much wildlife, very restful.

Thanks Bloomer, we have a Cormorant too. All the goslings are growing well now and there are lots of geese on the river now.
