Thank you, the tree ia a cotoneaster, a bird must have pooped the seed at some point behind a building we had up there and when we moved it this tree was growing there happily in the total shade so I built a raised bed around it with breeze blocks, filled it with soil and under planted with campanula, it gets covered with tiny flowers in spring that the bees love and bright red berries in the autumn the wild life love it and so do I, takes a little bit work pruning the long growth from the top and new shoots from the bottom in the spring to keep the standard shape.

The campanula is romping away! Beautiful colour too.
What is the lovely looking tree at the bottom against the wall? It has a really nice shape.
