Penstemon Garnet

Another good doer for me, I moved this earlier this year no problem at all, 2 plants one smaller I need to take some cuttings

I have this in different places in the borders. Agree with you, a good-doer.

yes and it takes easy from cuttings too. One of the stalwarts of the plant tables at our local HPS meetings.
