Great Horned owl/ Bubo virginianus

It is a biggest owl in North America.
This is the first time we've noticed it around. Look at those claws.....and those yellow staring eyes. If I would be squirrel I would be worried.
Their wing span can be up to 2 meters.

lovely bird and clearly having a kip after being out hunting all night. I love owls such amazing biology.
