Area cleared this morning.

A thug of a plant with a white flower which spreads and spreads...roots form a type of matting..pavers had to be lifted to expose it.Thankfully it's gone...crossing fingers! Phew, gardening never stops!...New Caryiopteris doing well.

Looks very tidy, Julia. Love the ornamental grass section too! What’s the name of the spreader? It’s not the little Pratia that I have? Mine is the blue star flowering one. Mine seems to take years to spread.

Oh dear…that’s a pity, Julia. I guess it’s foe not friend in the garden. Do you think you’ll manage to be rid of it?
Thinking on it, I’ve a sedum or the like, in a small bed and it has the same spreading habit. I keep pulling it up it has white flowers too. I’m hoping to eradicate it eventually!
