Pelargonium collection.

I have been rather amazed and very pleased that I have managed to keep these. Lots were really tiny when they were sent out in the Spring and I haven't dared disturb them. Now some of them have got strong enough to pot on, so I hope that isn't the kiss of death for them!

Thank you both. I was disappointed with a lot of them, they were far too small to be sent out IMO. I think they will be much better next season.

I have fed them a couple of times, Paul, but that's all. I am nervous about potting the tinies on because so many of my little plants often seem to die off when I do that. I find it impossible to get them through the winter, even in a heated greenhouse, so I will have to find an alternative this year.

Just checked - it's Radula roseum, Klahanie. Rose-scented apparently. I have dificulty allocating the different types of scent. They all smell different to me but 'of what' I'm never very sure! A bit like wines when we're told they smell of blackberry or lemons or whatever.

They all look lovely together Anget! For the first time , I have never bought any pelagoniums. I haven't really got room for them, but also never seem able to keep them for another year!

I thought it was just me they didn't like, Rose!!

Very pretty colours, Ange. They do look healthy, despite your troubles. What a shame you have had problems in the past. Im keeping fingers crossed for you.
I do like the pink and white one in the right hand corner.

I think they would be easier to keep if I had a conservatory, Kate.

Well I have a conservatory Anget, but haven't any room for them in there either! Too many pictures and ornaments!

Oh, Rose - who's the most hopeless case out of the pair of us??

I keep mine in the Conservatory over winter Anget, and the cuttings I take. It is unheated ,but seems to suit them. The ones I have now,are on their third summer, but I think the original ones, are past their best now..I really must let the moths out of my purse ! :o) Yours look just fine to me,just need more warmth and sunshine..don't we all !

I potted them all on into terracotta pots today, Bloomer, so I hope the baby ones won't wither and die on me now. I paid for a bag of potting bark to mix in so they are being cossetted. Not much root growth on any of them. Fingers crossed. I hope your purse has more than moths in it!!

I hope they make progress now Anget.Worth the effort, isn't it.? I must say,my cuttings didn't have much root growth either, but I planted them out with the others, and they seem to be holding their own,but slowly. Re my purse..not a lot, in it,but it's a lot lighter, as I've almost forgotten how to use cash ! I always make sure I have £1 coin for a shopping trolley ,as I lost my token..:o(
