Too little rain vs too much....

Too little rain vs too much....

Guess we both lose, right... Told you Dee, I could only dream of mine looking like yours. Gas is too expensive for my irrigation pump, so it's either the flowers or the grass that gets watered. I don't have to tell you, who's doing without , do I...lol...(sorry grass, maybe next year )

Our grass is going that way too, though this year is much better than last year.

I'm in the boat with you, Flcrazy. The grass is just gonna have to fend for itself. Had a little rain shower Wed night, but not enough to make much difference.

Gave up grass many years ago and put it down to shingle - easier to maintain. Have adapted our garden in many ways to cope with our energy levels.

Do you have restictions on watering now? We can only water on odd number days and only between 10pm and 10am. I have it a little better cause that doesn't apply to food grown for family use. But no grass and no ornamentals.
No washing the car either, and it is starting to look pretty bad! Gonna have to go to the car wash and pay to get it washed.

No I don't Wohlibuli, only because I still get my water from a well, no city water, and the lake we irrigate from is a small private lake that doesn't feed into any major lakes with a dam for them to draw power from. But my brother who lives about 15 minutes away is on water restictions too, just like yours.
