This was planted on an obelisk 3 years ago...it does put on a lot of growth, very pretty with a fragrance. I use 3 metal supports around it. Why do they keep changing plant names!

I tried this one a few years ago and it withered sadly...

I loved this Clematis for 2 years, but sadly it withered and died, rather like Kates by the sound of it!

It was growing along a fence, we had seats in front of it and the scent was fabulous. Almost overnight it just upped and died ... :o(
Just remembered that another GoY member, possibly Karen, had the same problem.

No Julia, I don't do Facebook but I know Karen is on that.
There was somewhere she blogged about her beautiful garden, but for the life of me I cannot recall what it is.
I must do some research to try to find her once more.

It is a lovely, scented clematis. You've trained it well, because it is a bit of a 'goer' if you don't keep your eye on it! It looks good.
