Eucomis 'Sparkling Burgandy'

I bought this large bulb two years ago.First time flowering and nowhere near as impressive as the Eucomis bi-colour in the same raised up pot, either in size or colour. Maybe it has to grow up a bit.

It is a lovely plant though I think it has lost its AGM status as the bulb is now considered variable. I suspect that is down to seed raised ones. It is a lovely one still.
