Justicia carnea - Brazilian Plume Flower

Another attractive plant!

Very Carmen Miranda. lovely the broken colour of the petals.

Had one. Then it was gone. I think a Possum ate it. Or rodents. Gardening is more than fighting climate!

When I lived in Fremont, I used to have very large Brazilian Plume flower plants. I think it likes the SF Bay Area better because of more rain.
