Pine problem.

I'm not able to pose a question on the site from my phone today, so, having to add to 'photos'.
My pine is dropping copious amounts of needles. It hasn't dropped as many as this before. Any thoughts or intervention necessary? Much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes Kate they drop their needles. We have two bonsai ones and we soak ours in a bowl of water occasionally when it's dry....
