Wigandia carascana showing blue bell flowers. A bit unreal- but in Mexico its sort of a weed.
Still not 100% open.

Interesting too Kate? This is a clone that you can touch the plant with no problems. Some other clones, and they are the vast majority I'm told, have intense stinging hairs. Welts and all that. Mine is about as bad as Zucchini leaves-ha. On the other hand Kate,when a stem dies and drys out? You cannot pick it up barehanded.
But it doesnt branch much and now i know to quickly sweep up dead stems and put in the green bin.

Those purple flowers are a pretty colour. Attractive big green leaves too...I guess 'one man's weed'.. as they say...
