Australian fuschia....Evergreen half hardy.1 to - 5..most unusual tubular flowers pink at base and creamy yellow at tips.Likes acid soil...Height in 10 years 4ft.

Well mine certainly relished the open porch, well out of the way of our winter blasts. It grew far more quickly than I anticipated. We got it from a GC in southern Cornwall, so that might be a clue! I think DD grew/grows it, too.

I had one of these under my porch in a pot, as I don't have ericaceous soil. It grew to about 3ft in four or so years and eventually we had to compost it as it was much too big for the space. But a lovely thing and I regretted having to let it go. Enjoy yours! I'm envious!
