Its thriving in the many April rains this year. More rain in April then the bay area has had in Jan-Feb-March combined I think they said. Funny that October and December were record wet. Just a real roller coaster. At least April rains are not cold!

None?? I thought you were getting rained on? Del,I just saw a Laura Eubanks video of a garden in La Mesa. Quite a nice climate as she described that its warmer than San Diego- but also a raised area that keeps things frost free.
So far the rains of April here have been more than Jan-Feb-March combined. For a time there,I was already tired of having to water every couple of days the jungle type plants. I kept it light but steady. These days its nature.

Its a beautiful thing Stan. Good blue flowers are always the most difficult to find.

I don't think there is a fragrance. It makes a great show for few weeks..would be much nicer if it was all summer. But ,this not a cultivar so it sticks doing what wild plants do. Bloom in spring and no more.
We had more rain. Everything in leaf is perky and spares me going plant to plant watering them.

That's a beautiful shrub, Stan! Love both flowers and leaves. We've really had a very very dry April! Started watering the gardens...

Thank you Kate. It sort of fits an English cottage garden. Just king sized!

It’s beautiful! You’re lucky for the April showers. We haven’t had any rain in April.
