Tulips on the deck

I do not grow tulips because they are consumed by critters but last fall I bought few bulbs to cheer up our deck and here they are. We have very slow coming spring this year.

They are pretty. There is a lady down the road from me that puts on a good show with hers, she has so many different ones. I personally think there is some lovely variety’s but I remember my mum saying that they don’t come up again the next year like they use to so for that alone I won’t buy them. I do have some red ones I dug out of the front garden and put in the flowerbed out the back that do come up every year but I haven’t a clue what their name is though.
