Clematis 'Miss Bateman'

 Clematis 'Miss Bateman'

This is a large flowered, robust clematis, about 9'....... quite pretty.

Raised by Charles Noble ( UK ) and introduced in 1869
Parentage Fortunei x Standishii

All my pictures lately are done in a rain. What a horrible spring we have this year here on lower Vancouver Island.

So sorry to hear you're still being rained on, Klahanie. But this is a stunner of a clematis. I really like the pale green stripes on it and full of flower.

So sorry your spring weather has been so disappointing Klahanie, while we have had exceptional sunshine. I hope your summer will be much better. Gorgeous Clematis. x

Heavy rain here today … much needed for the garden. What a good thing all the Jubilee street parties were held yesterday!

There was a small family gathering not far from us, Klahanie, which I passed when I went for a walk to my local pond, but not one where I knew anyone. I think they were few and far between here …

This is beautiful ,I had one on my previous garden .
