Lovely Kate. I’ve missed you … have you been away?

Aw thanks Sheila! That’s really lovely of you! So kind 😘 Yes, I went up to Ayrshire last Thursday for 5 nights to catch up with the family. It was lovely to see my parents, my sister and her family too. The weather was smashing, very sunny and warm too - very fortunate.
Since I got back, I’d been ‘attending a virtual symposium’ from home Wednesday and Thursday - UK kidney week at Birmingham.
Then I was out on Friday evening with a couple of friends for a meal and ‘bowling’! Just getting back in to my usual routine.

That sounds a great catch up Kate. I don’t know Ayrshire but I guess it’s far away enough that you don’t get to see your family very often … glad you had a great time and fine weather too 🙂.

Thank you, Sheila. It’s on the west coast of Scotland, usually takes around 4 and a half to 5 hours to drive there. It was a lovely visit, parents hoping to visit me here at the end of July, after they’ve been on holiday. ☺️

Agree Shirley, it’s a lovely one. It was climbing up the Sexton’s cottage.
