Hesperis seeds itself in Sunvalley.

Deer used to munch on it but lately leaves it alone and now it makes the area very colourful.

And a beautiful scent, too, no doubt.

Love these; mine have just gone over sadly.

The smell is delightful Anget and I let the plants seed. They are easy to pull out .The area is more or less a natural affair.

Sheila, you had a real spring .....we did not. Everything is at least 3 weeks back here this year. Summer is here and I hope we will get any. Big difference between last and this year in weather pattern. I did not like the hot temperatures last year either.
Looking at the forecast, all US (and maybe even Europe) will be very hot in next couple of weeks. So maybe lucky for us being on the cooler side.

Very attractive colouring, a pretty addition..albeit a prolific one!

I am pulling some out Kate. Way too many. But this year I do not have as many foxgloves.
