I'm only just discovering your lovely Garden,Feverfew,no idea why I haven't come across it before, but it really is beautiful, and a lovely mingle of colours ,and textures...The Lychnis is wonderful, and mine, which was the same colour as yours, seems to have died off after many years,in my front border... Strangely enough, I have two white ones tinged with pink, that have appeared in my back garden this year ! ..

Thank you Bloomer. I’m afraid it doesn’t look anything like this now, more like a dust bath! The Nepeta which I chopped down is growing again & starting to flower, also I have two Phlox in bloom, a pink & a white. I water things whilst they are flowering, then they are just left. Areas where I normally have annuals are bare, ( they died). I water plants in pots, & have a nice display of Ivy- leaved Geraniums, best plants for this weather. The Begonias are nice too, they are on a shady wall at the end of my garden.
The fibrous rooted Begonia is still thriving. I kept it in the house on the window sill during the winter as I don’t have a greenhouse. Your new Lychnis sound very nice, the cerise ones I have are the more usual ones.
