Difficult isn't it, as we don't want to put wildlife at risk..

The trouble is Kate about using slug pellets, we have lots of birds visit the garden, and one of the neighbours said she'd seen a hedgehog last week, so I try to be careful. If you use slug pellets, and the wildlife eat the dead slugs and snails, it can kill them.

The Hosta is full of holes, but I say different to the 'norm' SBG. If they get too many I put them on to the drive and they take their chance. We get a lot of the smaller snails with their multicoloured shells.

We all have to try to help the wildlife as much as we can don't we. The planet is in trouble, and the war going on doesn't help. The leaders of the world should work together for peace and unity......(enough said.)
The markings on the smaller snails are so varied and lovely. I saw a programme a long time ago and the person was saying that if the shells swirl the other way to the norm, they are rare.
