Well done Balcony, as I understand that they are not easy plants to grow from seeds.

To help them flower, they need lots of sun. I had one that was in half shade and it didn't do much. I moved it to a sunny location and it started flowering 2 years later.

You are right Klahanie they are difficult to grow from seed.

Thanks for your comment, Wylie, I am thinking of putting it out on the balcony next year, in May. Then I will have to bring it back in again in October. Tender plants have to be brought in during October as they will not survive outside during the winter.

Mine actually start flowering around Christmas time. They seem to either like the shorter days or the cooler, frostless temperatures.
