Maybe there will be new blooms. That’s a good sized plant. They do grow fastest in the ground. I had one in a pot it stayed 3 ft tall after 26 years. My big plumeria in the ground is 22 years old and it’s 15 ft tall and 24 ft wide. I cut it back, it was 26 ft wide and was taking over the whole back yard!

Twice i've tried them in ground and both rotted. I didn't really amend the soil much if at all. I might try again..in a raised bed with plenty of perlite. If they can live here in pots, they should do better in ground...should-ha.
A big problem is where do I need another shrub?..hardly any room now. In pots I can make room for smaller plants.

The rains have knocked off almost all the blooms on my Celadine. Its about 4' -not exactly a shademaker. Its also now 24 years old in a pot.
