Prunus salicifolia - Capulin or Tropical Cherry

Prunus salicifolia - Capulin or Tropical Cherry (Prunus salicifolia - Capulin or Tropical Cherry)

My Capulin cherry is full of flower spikes now. Last year it had lots of flowers and no fruit. I hope plenty of fruit this year! Photo taken March 22, 2023.

That's an attractive leaf shape and colour. Hoping you see some produce this year.
What colour are the blossoms on this one, Andy?

It’s a real cherry tree from the tropics. It’s an evergreen tree which can produce three crops year in southern California.

Here’s a pic of this tree growing and flowering in a pot. I put it into the ground in 2021, I think. The flowers are white and very sweet-smelling.
