Not all the tulips were out & some early ones were a bit wind swept. I forget the name of the white daffodil, I did grow it once, has several blooms per stem. It was looking good in carpets everywhere.

Josie, when did you visit? I hope you enjoyed the visit. Many years ago we visited the Collector Earls Gardens ... here's a link to my blog if you would like to see it.

I went on Thursday, 13th April. Was very lucky with the weather. I will look up your blog tomorrow.

On that day we had a rain/hail shower around 3pm, didn't last very long.

I enjoyed your blog of Earl’s garden. I think my Euphorbia photo is part of it but I didn’t find the little shell grotto. I was lazy about going up steps & I didn’t go up the steps to the keep either! We left at 3.30pm & the hail shower came after. I paid £37 for the trip with Candy tours inc. castle &
garden, but I’m happy to pay for a day out. One glass house was open, contained Pelargoniums, the others locked.

Joie, thanks so much for reading through that blog. Lucky that you missed the hail shower! I think you had value for money at that price.
