Noticed it had started to flower this morning.
Hope to see some more buds open up.

Lovely combo Kate. There is a spectacular field not far from us with more Pasque flowers than anywhere else in England!

Thank you, Ange. I thought I'd lost it, but, it appeared thankfully! Yours sounds a pretty colour, and your right about the centre! They are lovely, I've this one in the bottom of the rockery.

Thanks, Sheila, pleased you like the combo!
Gosh, that field sounds pretty spectacular as you say, especially over Easter! It'd be a fabulous photo opportunity!

You’re right Kate. I’d organised a group trip there for Thursday, couldn’t go myself, but two members sent me photos of the Pulsatillas, which was kind 🙂.

That's a pity, Sheila, I guess sometimes other things or appointments crop up and csnt be missed. Good to have some pics sent by your group members, you can still enjoy the flowers. 👍😊

What else?
See who else is growing Pulsatilla vulgaris (Pasque flower).
See who else has plants in genus Pulsatilla.

They are prettier the more you stare into them. I have a red one which has turned pink and has the most gorgeous pink stamens in the middle aamongst the yellow anthers. (I think I have that the right way round!) I like yours showing up amongst the saxifrages, Kate.
