My large plumeria tree is still trying to grow leaves on the last day of May. It’s never been without leaves this time of year here in San Diego, CA. I purchased this tree in July of 2000. The weather has been well below normal (only 66 to 71 degrees which are normal January temps here). Photo taken May 31, 2023.

I hope so! It’s been so cool here my tree won’t grow.

Mine are sprouting Andy-but- I don't see any flower stalks. Not one so far. It's going to be a leafy season? Well, time will tell.
Great looking tree with so much branching. Not possible in pots.

In the last three days since we’ve had some sun and warmth, this tree has a few more leaves growing. My other varieties have lots of leaves. My Plumeria ‘Hilo Beauty’ has several flower spikes. The red varieties need a tremendous amount of heat.
This plumeria has been in the ground in this spot since summer of 2005.
