Phygelius

I think this is what it is,although it has no red on the flowers. I took a cutting from a bit sticking out through an overgrown hedge in a public passage way. The hedge is no more, replaced by a fence, so perhaps I have saved a plant.

I had a Phygelius 'Fanfare Yellow' and was warned it could be 'thuggish' but it never was. It must have died as I haven't seen it flower for a couple of years. I think you have definitely saved a plant!
