Branching bloom...

The first year that my Pachypodium has more than a single branch with flowers. It's about 20 years old and was in a 4" pot when I acquired it.

That’s awesome! I see them flowering all around here, also. In Palm Springs there’s thousands of very large ones flowering everywhere. I think it loves desert heat!

I have two in the ground. The other is not ready to bloom as its just year two in the ground. I grew it in a pot,then it got root rot so,I re rooted it in pure perlite. Planted it out where it's done well. I wouldn't tell anybody an easy grow here..but they are doable.

I had seen this plant growing outside when I lived in the Bay Area. I don’t remember any flowering, though.

Its not often seen here outdoors. I've never seen another planted in the ground!..but it's worked out.
