That's sad, Scotkat, in fact, it is a disgrace! You'll probably know, then, that the decision to recognise the Land Girls was not made until December last year. It then took until just last month for the badges of honour to be awarded. Only some 30,000 out of over 80,000 WW2 WLA members got their badges.

My husbands Dads sister was in the Land Army sad she did not live to get recognised .
Very proud of all were a Land Girl.
