One of the nicest looking Maidenhair fern cultivars there is,I think. It looks almost edible it's so lush.

They love water Shirley. This one's pot is sitting in a saucer of water.

Ooh, very lush. I’m a fern lover myself. This one is a beautiful Maidenhair.

Hello Stan,
I don’t think that’s Pacific Maidenhair fern (Adiantum petatum). It’s a variety of Adiantum tanerum, isn’t it?

No its not the native fern, just the common name of Pacific maid. Even when you google it can be a bit confusing but the Pacific maid with scalloped leaves and black wire stems is the subtropical fern.

It’s strange it looks so much like A. tanerum.

I have two smaller plants in 5 inch pots. They were spores from the mother plant that sowed themselves. So,they breed true.

That’s great! It’s a very full, lush fern.
Your Chamaedorea palms look terrific, also. Are they C. elegans?

They are Home Depot seedlings about 10 or more to the pot after a decade or near it. I meant to divide them up,but never did.

I have several from a pot and divided them more than 20 years ago. They’re all between 3 and 5 ft ft now.

These are often recommended for bathrooms in the UK ... the humid atmosphere suits them apparently.
