This beautiful Colville’s Glory is growing next to the greenhouse by two plumeria hybrids at The San Diego Botanical Gardens. The gardens have been revamped and expanded in recent years. Photo taken Oct. 15, 2023.

There’s many at the San Diego Zoo, now. It’s very closely related to Delonix regia. Its native is the same area as Delonix regia in Madagascar. None known to have flowered here in California yet, though. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.
