There were other varieties. I chose the ones I liked the best, and looked the smallest. All I need to do now is work out the best way to protect them. The slugs are already making their way here, I can almost hear them coming!

Hmm…it’s only a matter of time Shirley. Several times I’ve said they aren’t worth growing, but I love them, and they are just so good in shade! Think I’ll give the garlic spray a try.

Go for it. I have heaped coffee grounds around them now ... see if they slither across them.

Karen, I keep my Hostas in pots but noticed some of the leaves have been nibbled. Oh well, live and let live I guess!
