Dark red lily

That's a beautiful dark red Lily, Wylie!

It is also a bonus that there is no lily beetle problem here.

How lucky you are then, Wylie! They can decimate a plant in a few days! I've grown them on our balcony but I didn't have problems with them but when I grew them on the allotment it was a constant fight to try to stop them! My son lost some lilies in his garden a few years ago due to the beetle!

My son sent me a picture of some red lilies, like yours, this evening! I thought he had just bought them but they are from last year he told me.
