Thanks again Kate! These Petunias did look great for several months! Incredibly they survived getting frosted & even had rainwater freeze on them! I was very surprised to see them survive the first frost let alone sevearal frosts! I think I took a picture as I didn't expect anyone to believe me. I must look for it & see if I can upload it.

Hardy little things, indeed! It’s always really lovely to see flowers and colour into late autumn and early winter. Especially when it’s unexpected too!

Petunias are half-hardy plants which is the reason we can't plant them out until the last frost has come & gone so I was very surprised to see the plants coved in ice & then continue the next day as if nothing had happened!
