Planted last Autumn after I had removed many roses to reduce work.

That’s right!!! It’s a lovely one, a lovely change from the ‘red robin’ variety.

Not my favourite shrub but the layout is very appealing.

I agree with Hywel. I hope my Hak grass will look as good as yours does one day!
