Betula Ermanii ‘White Chocolate’

Well, the new tree arrived and is planted. It’s a metre tall than expected, so I’ll need a big stake for it. Not the greatest shape, but I’m sure it will grow into a great shape with a little judicious pruning. It’s a bit top heavy atm. In the winter I’ll trim the top a bit. A lovely small to medium tree with pinky-cream bark as it matures. I can see the beginnings of that at the very bottom now, but the rest of the trunk is russets brown for now. It does look really healthy though.

Karen, I hope it grows well for you and you may find the small birds will like it too!
