Manilkara zapota 'Hasya'

Manilkara zapota 'Hasya' (Manilkara zapota 'Hasya')

My Hasya sapodilla has some fruit on it. It flowered a few months ago. It probably has 5 to 6 months longer for the fruit to ripen. It takes 6 to 9 months or longer for fruit to ripen in Southern California and even in South Florida. Photo taken on December 19, 2024.

I've never actually tasted a sapodilla.

It’s very sweet. It’s a very popular fruit in Latin America and India.
