My santol is still growing even in December. It loves this spot, it’s been here since last fall (the roots are growing into the ground from the pot). The Santol tree is pretty rare in San Diego, as it’s very tropical and not easy to grow outside. I do know of people who have some “big trees” here in San Diego, though. There’s also someone in San Diego, on Youtube who has a 12 ft (4 m) tree. In hot tropical countries it grows extremely tall and large, to 150 ft (46 m), like in its native Malesia. It most likely will grow and fruit very well for you. I’m not sure if it’ll ever fruit in San Diego and it’s long term survival outside is questionable.

Will have a look around here for it.

I would be curious. I’m sure someone there would have one. I saw a YouTube video of someone in Brisbane with a gorgeous tree.

Never heard of this one, but a google search told me the fruit is rather like a mangosteen.
