A big surprise

Coffee cherries on my coffee plant.
I have never noticed it blooming and today when watering
we noticed at least a dozen of "cherries". Apparently each of them has 2 beans. It was quite exciting to see them.
I have this coffee plant for several years growing from a tiny 4 inch plant to about 3feet.

I love the plant but did not believe that I will ever see these. I think that they are edible.
