Eucalyptus nicholii in a pot.

I would not have known this as a Eucalyptus at all!

It is so soft and light Shirley. Makes quite a big tree though in the ground.

Will you be able to keep them smaller in pots?

I’m hoping so Shirley, but keeping eucalyptus alive in pots is a challenge. You’re supposed to use airports.

Ah, now I know what you mean. They are strange looking things, not overly attractive don't you think?

Horrid. I’m hoping that terracotta will let enough air to the roots. You can just pop your airpot into a bigger glazed pot, but I had already potted these before I learned about the airpots. If they start to suffer I will change my tactic.
