The front view

The front view

I have been waiting a while for cars to be absent so I can show you the front of the house view. At last, all traces of building site are gone, trees and whips are planted (native shrubs) and wildflower seed has been sown. You can see we now have greenery to enjoy and an uninterrupted view across the Vale of Blackmore towards the Wiltshire Downs. I can’t tell you how grateful we are for this open space. It makes all the difference to us having lived for 10 years in our cottage with stunning views in Scotland. I am so glad that we aren’t hemmed in on all sides. The birdsong is lovely. We had an owl hooting last night. Just lovely!
