Is there a factor I'm not aware of here, Flcrazy? I know they love lots of moisture(or will tolerate lots of moisture) thought it would be a natural for down near the lake?... got seeds~ if you'd like some?

Yours look much hardier than mine, We have a hard time with ours in the heat even if they are in very moist soil, i have to plant mine in almost total shade. Ours down here don't produce viable seeds either because of the heat. People around here think they have seeds. but they aren't fat like they are supposed to be and will not germinate. You and my northern neighbors are the only who can produce viable seeds. So, if you don't mind sharing I'd love to have some !

Now that's what a Ligularia is supposed to look like ! Just look at all those beautiful, bright yellow blooms ! Not in a million years, could I get them to look this good for me down here.
