Thanks ladies! it adds dancing shadows! that's what I like best about candles in the garden ...or a small fire...it adds a magical dimension. night photography is a set of challenges I haven't mastered yet. I wish I could have taken a pic of the soft firelight without the flash...Don't think there's a way I can suspend the auto shutter...If it was an SLR I could set the shutter to open long enough to get an esposure in very low light. Christmas is coming..guess what's on the top of my list?!!
