It took me over 10 years to teach my guy that it's ok to take 'garbage' set out at the curb. At least now that he's learned, he has spotted some great stuff, like this trolly/cart thing that's looking mighty sharp as an outdoor table/plant stand

Yes, the best part of it was that it was free!
As I understand it, one family part way down our street have a used furniture/antique store, and they often put items they don't think they can sell or don't want to store out to the curb for people to take.
They put four of these carts out there, and we took one for ourselves and one for my brother and sister in law. It was a great find!
