I believe they are quite similar to the tits you have over there. They are friendly, busy little birds, occuring all across Canada, although there are regional variences in colour. In my area they are year round residents, non-migratory, and very welcome in the yard. They love sunflower seed, suet, peanuts or peanut butter at the feeders and seem quite cheerful little birds.

Thanks for that information about the chickadee. Grammazoo.
They certainly appear to have lots of similarities to the bluetits, great tits and coal tits which entertain us on the British bird feeders.

Please tell me a bit more about Chickadees.
Are they widespread across Canada?
