Thanks for your comments Lori - but I think it's the wonderful setting, so no great talent needed and it's sheer camera fluke if my photos come out the way they do !!!! !!
The cobbles just take you to the end of the one street town and onto the road that leads you to another equally pretty town a few miles away - -

I'll respect your modesty...lol. but I really like that picture (and many others, too) Do you spend much time exploring? (beyond the demands of home and work, that is?) My brother-in-law's family came from Puglia, and I've heard about the little villages on either side of valleys, connected by old roman roads/vias...lol. I've been fascinated by Italy since grade nine Latin...would love to travel there someday.

Yes I admit I take advantage of friends' visits to "show off" and take them round to explore all the little towns in the area - perhaps when Alitalia have sorrted out their problems you could plan a trip here - you wouldn't regeret it Lori !!!

You take wonderful photos... the paving on the street looks ancient..and the perspective of the street with the door or archway at the end...deep shadow on one side and bright light on the other...great pic! Did you walk down the street to the end, just to see where it went?
