Laurel trees in Abbey cloister - sorry about the shade so you can't see the potted roses that had the most divine smell - told by the monks that they are very old

typically I have been viewing pictures in reverse order! haha... a cloister, of course. a photo can't capture smells but this picture and the last invoke a peaceful feeling. it looks like a marvellous place for silent contemplation.
