Yep. Lots of rain. It started to pour down. Such a shame as the picture really does not do that area justice. My camera can not cope with rain.
All the planting was a fiery red, yellow, purple and orange in amongst the grasses. I absolutely loved it.

There's a Bonython in Cornwall, Bonkers.
Another Bonython is near Canberra in Australia.
This antipodean one could well have been named after you.
Do you have a hat with corks attached ?
I'm sure Jess will tell you more.....
With all that rain, I think the West Country is a likely bet.

So there are two Bonythons Terra. Didn't know that...Yes Bonkers. West country. Down by the Lizard Peninsula near Mullion.

Do you know the name of that plant on the right hand edge - the one with big round leaves? I have often seen it but can't find out what it is - looks just the right scale for my stream side planting where I am trying to resist the temptation of planting a gunnera!
