It bloomed

And it's absolutely gorgeous!! What is it? It reminds me of a Hibiscus.

Venice Mallow, my daughter gave me this plant she planted from seed. The flower last one day.

Yep, with this type of plant you either pay attention or you miss it! It was worth haunting to make sure you saw it in bloom.

It has about 15 more blooms to come so will get to see a few more :)

I take a stroll all around my yard every morning just to see if there are any surprises; of course while I'm looking for surprises I tend to see all the chores that still need doing also. lol. but every now and then I'll find the unexpected.

Is this one growing again for you? It should be :) Where are your new plants?

haven't seen it yet, and the other plants are doing well.
