Where is the black spot, the rust, the greenfly, what are you doing please tell me.....

oh they have all been present this year, and these are all suposed to be fairly desise risistant varieties, - David Austin ofcourse which helps but i don't think there is a rose out there that is hassle free, but then they do reward you so nicely if you do put in the extra effort. but i have had more than my fair share of black spot, and green fly - along with little green catapillars that just eat through all the leaves, but i just keep picking over, feeding spraying, and dead heading, if you keep hard at it you can get the better of them all in the end.

Beautiful colour Angie. It looks to be a very healthy rose.

thanks Gilli, it is one of my favorites and as you can see it is much more lilac/mauve than pink, although i do like the pink one that you have 'Night Owl' i may have to find space for one of thoughs too. lol
